INDIA182: Day 40!

INDIA182: Day 39 debrief. . .

Worship was very very good and new. (: haha it was my first time to head into a Tamil church and experience the incredible worship at the beginning that the pastor led towards handing the praise to me. It was really an enjoyable experience though it costed some sore legs from standing on the stage for a while. (:
I was really really thankful for God’s beauty today in the sky and nature as my eyes are opened to it more everyday!
While heading to a former ywamers home in the afternoon, I was reminded again of the autumn festival that was happening now in which many designs like the one I took were made in front of people’s houses.
Our time spent with the former ywamer was to teach village teenagers a greater understanding of an overview of the Bible. (as the titus team’s specialty)
I was truthfully distracted that afternoon with the mountains that we were surrounded with and the amazing sky. I happily wasn’t alone as the former ywamer was also outside and he started telling me a great many stories of his travels around as a missionary. (:
That literally made my day in just listening and seeing how God worked and still works today in many of our lives. The Great Provider!!
Please pray for this former ywamer as he is prayin for finances to further his ministry in his calling for this village that he is building a base for the youth and teenagers surrounding. Also pray for the titus team and I as we continue to work in unity and strength to spread His love to others! (: (:
Good night folks and thank you again for all the prayers!

Official Newsletter should be coming soon via email!

INDIA182: Day 38 debrief. . .

We arrived safely in our location of Coimbatore praise the Lord! After a few bumps in the head and standing for a couple of stops from the lack of seats. The night train an adventure of fun. (: I seriously like going to a place where I can’t understanding what other people are saying and just listening and trying to distinguish what they’re saying. (: thank you Jesus for giving me a greater heart for this place!!

We arrived pretty late and later than we expected but got to grab some noodles (aka maggi) from a stall, and then head to the director’s house to cook our midnight dinner. Haha
And we were greeted with a friendly face named Robin Philips, the director of the up and coming ywam base here. To my glee, I also found out that he is married to an Australian and of course we jumped right into close friends from there. Haha
I was awakened the next day with a great morning cereal that I’ve truly missed and a wonderful time with Jesus in His word which I’ve missed even more. (: thank you God for Your wonderful provision and care for you children.
Prayer requests are a many more rest in Him to energize me more for what’s to come the rest of this week and pray for church tomorrow as I was asked to lead worship. (: may the Lord and Him alone be glorified and may His presence dwell and fill our hearts and theirs!!
Also please pray for the spiritual atmosphere of the fear of rejection here as the culture is set in much reputation so failures or problems would not usually be revealed in families from fear of rejection or loss of identity in the society. Pray that Jesus’ identity in them will be shown and the revelation of His love will be demonstrated from our actions to love. And let our God break the strongholds of the caste system in this area as revelation is revealed in our need for this salvation that has been given freely!!! Ahhj!! Jesus come!!

Much love from India!!

Ps: I had an afternoon nap today. It’s a pretty big deal. (:

INDIA182: Day 37 debrief. . .

Theme for today: fun with Titus team!

Recent news!!: I will be heading with the team on Friday to a new place 4 hours from Kochi called Coimbatore. (: (:

Rumor says it: the base leader that is pioneering the base used to lead School of Worship in the states.

I felt like a tourist today.
Went to my very first mall in India and ended up finding out that 9000 rupees of mine that I exchanged are fake which is a big no no.

But God is good -echo- all the time!! And all the time! -echo- God is good!! (:

I still have money folks, don’t worry about me (;
My mom was worried about me in what has been happening recently with the news about the hate videos and killings of northeastern Indians (that look like me) But I continue to smile and know that our God is bigger than that.
We’re taking a train tonight to Coimbatore so please pray for a smooth journey and fun times with Jesus!!

Much love from India!!

For India’s Sake…

For Zion’s (India’s) sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s (India’s) sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. [2] The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. [3] You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. [4] No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah ; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. [5] As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. [6] I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem (India); they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, [7] and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. [8] The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; [9] but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.” [10] Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. [11] The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: “Say to the Daughter of Zion (India), ‘See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.’ ” [12] They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted.

Isaiah 62

Amen Lord, let it be said on every high place.
