Worship & Intercess success! + coffee shop ministry!

It is amazing how God has given us so much energy and strength to use it for the day and so much can be accomplished! Praise the Lorddddd!

The day was already set in stone as Silvia and planned and worked out the whereabouts of each location for the day. My second to last day in Kalimpong, I can never forget the warm sun touching my skin, overlooking a vast range of mountains. It was a real workout these couple of days to climb these steep steps around town to get from place to place but it was totally worth it!
Straight up after breakfast, I started up to the base leaders house to continue helping the wife with the canvas that she was painting for a convention in Nepal! Silvia came over to help a bit but time was surely limited as we had start our climb up this mountain to the Bhutan base to have worship and intercession over the city.

Lucky, I got some word of a shortcut! Yes Jesus! And we arrived on schedule with a terrace awaiting us to do worship and intercession on. To my surprise, this time with Jesus also brought Silvia closer to God and refreshed her in her walk with Him! It was such beautiful day to be able to speak over the city and pray in faith over this city God has such a heart for.
And before we knew it, I had to descend slowly down to the Kalimpong coffee shop ministry that was awaiting for my arriving from a lovely, faithful Korean couple.

BUT BEFORE THAT, I had mo mo’s (which I still think are Chinese dumplings) haha but still good!!

The coffee shop ministry was a real flashback of my time working in Starbucks. I seriously forgot how fun it was just to wait on people and just serve as the Korean guy described me as his angel because he’s been having to take care of this place on his own because of his wife having to go back to take care of his children in the afternoon.

Prayer requests:
– please speak light and truth over the city of Kalimpong as there is much freedom in this place though there is also a confusion in the people of which is the truth!
-pray for the coffee ministry to have greater fruit in volunteers and God, please grant greater strength for the Korean couple working there now!

Thank you guys for being patient with me!! Much to update with such little time to type it out! Jesus is good though!!

Much love from India!!

Theme of today!

Sunday worship + china garden with Silvia + movie night!

This day was full of unexpected events like going to china garden and eating the best Chinese food since 4 months ago with a lady staff at the base, Silvia.

Before all that unexpected mumbo jumbo, I followed Silvia to an English service church full international missionaries and ywamers. It was great to be in a community again with an international group.
After the service, there was man I got to connect with that was working in Sikkim! His story really fired up my heart for this area which was unreached and closed off to the world. I got to encourage him and speak in faith for the greater awareness of his ministry!

After the sun bathing, after church, tea party had died down, Silvia and I decided to go get some good Chinese food!! Since my arrival, I was recommended by the leaders here of china garden and its exotic food. Yums!
It’s been a while since I’ve had Chinese food so it was a real treat to be able to get out of the Indian food routine. (Which I love! Don’t get me wrong.)

It was at that point in china garden eating chow mien and mushroom/veg soup, where Silvia and I had some serious talk about each other and Jesus. So. Good. (:
It was really a time where God used me to express the true focus in relationship with Jesus to Silvia where a light bulb clicked with a growing revelation about our awesome God!

The children ministry was brought to the base as about 15ish little boys were at the base as we fed them and helped them study and played games and taught them fun dances! Haha

And to end the day off, we got to watch Father Of Lights (a Christian documentary finishing the series of furious love and finger of God.)

Goodnight folks. Thank you Jesus!

Prayer requests:
– pray for a greater refreshment in the church this morning to have a greater understanding of who God is!
– pray for a greater revelation of God’s love to be known in the youth here that are so desperately wanting the truth.
– children ministry in Kalimpong as the staff have the chance to plant seeds of love at a young age to these boys
– pray for upcoming worship and intercession tomorrow in the high place as my limited days here are coming to an end.

Much love from India!!

TESTIMONY OF THE DAY: God cares about transport!

So the plan was to meet up with Kima in the morning and he would escort me to the bus station to Kalimpong. It just so happened that I watched a little much of the available tv series of glee season 1, last night, and I woke up in the panic from the possibility of being late! (Which I had plenty of time, but wanted to be on time.)

So the current dilemma of packing up my things for the week stay in the different locations and basic morning duties. I rushed out with just about an hour and half left to be able to make it to the city. So I communicated with God about this matter and left it in His hands!

As I was winding to the road to catch a bus, I saw that a car was parked right in front of me. It didn’t really surprise me until the guy that was leaning on the car asked me where I was going. And to my surprise, he said that he was going to the same place as well and asked me if I wanted a ride! Still suspicious and careful, I asked him how much the cost would be. After a few seconds, he offered me 50rps!!(which is not a lot of money at all! Less than an American dollar)

Still really shocked and surprised, I said yes, and hopped in. It was very seldom to have a random person that you don’t know offer you a cheap ride in India. Haha still, I was trusting in Jesus and felt peace about this!

So we had conversation and got connected to each other. While we were in the car, I only noticed I had 35rps with me that was loose change. I figured that I would get some change when I got to the hotel that I was suppose to meet Kima in.

When we arrived, I was appalled to find that they didn’t have change in the hotel!
So praying to God to do something, I came back to the driver (whom I found out was a taxi driver) and told him about the predicament. After a few seconds of finding out that I only had 35rps, he gracefully took it, said goodbye to me, and drove off! And I was left still shaking my head in what just happened! Was I dreaming or did I just make it to my destination 30mins early paying only 35rps?? JESUS IS AMAZING!!!

Summary of the rest of day:
-met Kima and ate breakfast.
-got in the bus and took a 3 hour amazing journey up this mountain with a scene of surrounding mountains plus crisp clean air!
-made it in time to meet up with the regional director in Kalimpong where she gave me a tour of the city.
-arrive at her house to help her with a painting project for a conference in Nepal; along with speaking to the husband about the town, high places, spiritual atmospheres, historical places in the land, and schedules for the couples of days there.
-helped paint a canvas for the director’s wife of the land of Canaan.

Prayer requests:
-pray for the next couple of days in this place to be productive ones with little time spent in this wonderful place!
-also please pray for rest tonight as it will be a busy day tomorrow!
-please pray for a greater understanding of God’s love!

Sorry guys for the late updates!

Much love from India!!
