INDIA182: Day 6

INDIA182: Day 5 debrief. . .

God is amazing!! Such a great Sunday to spend worshiping and praying and having the opportunity to give a message in a home!!
I’m gonna miss this place and pray that I’ll be able to come back again to visit! I’ll be leaving for Goa tomorrow so please pray that I will continue to trust in the Lord as He guides me safely on my sleeper train to the next location He has called me to! (:
I’m going to miss you lonavala!

Much love from India!

INDIA182: Day 4 debrief. . .

Today was a Kung pow wonderful day! I woke up with no sound of rain outside so I took the opportunity to take a few pictures before it would start raining again.
Rest was the main theme for today as the base was pretty quiet except for lunch, chai, and dinner time.
For today, I got to head out and grab some local food from the market with my newly beloved friend Deepak along with some worship and intercession to praise the great Guy upstairs that has brought me so far and has never left my side. (:
A few of the other guys at the base also helped me book my ticket to Goa (my next destination in my 6 month journey) and I’ll be planning to leave Monday morning at 10:35 so please pray that everything will go according to schedule! Knowing that I’ll be leaving this base soon is an excitement for what God has planned for me next but also a saddening thought for all the great friends I’ve made this week.
Please pray for my growing faith and trust in Him that is bigger than all fear and unknown. And may I dive into His arms of rest everyday as He leads me towards His vision for my life.

This is the Bible verse God had given me during worship & intercession:

‘For Zion’s (India’s) sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s (India’s) sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
The nations will see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.”

– Isaiah 62:1-4

Amen Lord, let it be.

INDIA182: Day 3 debrief. . .

I don’t think the real culture shock of me being in India has hit me yet because it has been raining 24/7 since I’ve arrived because it is monsoon season over here. I guess my culture shock will not come in till I hit another city in India that is much hotter and drier than the place I am now. Though the plus side of lonavala is that it’s quite cool here from the rain and God has given me a place that I can slowly transition into rather than a great big change. (: God is good like that.
So today was the last day of the week-long cleaning that the base set up which was good to see even the base leader getting into all the scrubbing and mopping and unclogging drains. Haha
And at the end ,of course, we had to celebrate with some BBQ. Mhmm. Good stuff.
So tomorrow will pretty much a day of rest for the base along with the rest of the following week as they try to get all the rest they can get before the big september quarter.
Please pray for me tomorrow as I am preparing to contact more bases to gather a greater schedule in where my journey will be next! I just got a whole bunch of contacts of many of the major bases in India praise the Lord! Soooo the next possibly bases will be either Bangalore or Mumbai. Pray, suggest, vote. (:

Hope you guys are doing great!

Much love from India

INDIA182: Day 2 debrief. . .

Today was amazing!! After being able to go to a nursery to teach a few songs to 2-4 year old kids, God started speaking to me towards building the schedule for my 6 months travel. Every base I would arrive to, I would immediately jump into different types of ministries during my week of stay to experience first hand what is happening in that area and what further clarity God will bring along the way!! I went with the local ministry team again this afternoon for slum evangelism. What has inspired me with this local team is whether rain or sun, they will go out every day to pray in many families in the slums except for Saturday. That afternoon, there was so much rain fall that we had to cross through this river that had formed to get to the slums. Haha
In one of the families, a lovely grandma that was asking for prayer told me not to forget her and pray for her as you can see her picture on the top right.
This amazing man on the bottom right (besides me) is one of the leaders of the local ministry team. I got to hear his ministry tonight which was full of God amazing glory!!
It’s the beginning of the journey but already, I feel so much has happened and I know these people so well.
Please pray for my strength and trust in the Lord as the enemy knows I am knocking holes in to his strongholds BUT as I continue to focus on Jesus, my Shepard, I will not fear because He is will me till the very end! Amen. Haha

Your prayers rock my socks off! That’s why I’ve decided to wearing sandals here (;

Much love from India!

INDIA182: Day 1 debrief. . .

After a full day of eating with my hands, drinking more than 10 cups of chai, seeing many cows, chickens, pigs, and goats, scrubbing walls, and getting to evangelize in the slums; I can say for India already. The only analogy I can think of right now is trying to drink from a hose that’s blasting chai at your face. But that’s India; it forces everything at you in the first day. But I love it. (:
Praise the Lord for His strength and presence with me all day today! Let it be everyday!! Haha thank you God for giving me such a heart for these lovely people.
Please please pray for this man on the right (Stallion) for you might be seeing him more often this next 6 months! He feels that he is being called to travel with me around India but needs to speak to his leader tomorrow. Let Your will be done God! Also please pray against the spirit of idolatry to be broken in this place and in all the places that I God leads me to. There is a deep deep root that involves fear and culture behind the idolatry. Also for this area, please pray for the spirit of drinking and alcoholism.
It’s the first day but God had already been speaking TONS! More to be revealed!! Stayed tuned in folks!!

Bless you and thank you for prayers!!

Much love from India!
